So a while back i played 4 Mayhem uninstalled etc...

today i decided to install it again but the problem is that it throws me back to windows after loading... when the menu is supposed to appear it throws me out...
same thing happened to forts but its not inportant atm

anyway i am runing xp pc

with plenty of ram
and a ATI 9600 series vid card... what could be the problem? please help i cant live without worms o.O

I had this problem like several times.
It was due to tweaking but not installation I believe.
Anyway, uninstall it again. Delete the whole folder in case un-installation didn't delete all files.
Install it again, download the patch 1.1( I believe ) and install it.
Get latest drivers for you graphic's card.

Also, did you install any new hardware recently ?
With recently I mean since the last time you played worms normally.

hmm well the only problem i fear it might be is recently my hard drive got a bit zapped up but its still working >.> ive has some programm problems but i guess its the culprit

So, did you give a try with removing the whole folder, installing the game , patch and latest drivers?

yes i did... it didint work :( anyway i guess i just need a new hard drive :P
