Hello.

I go by the name ShroomPicker on WormNet, thinking of shortening it to Shroom. Some of you might know me.

Anyway, on to my problem. I'll be as detailed as I can.

After installing Windows 7 earlier this year, W:A started having the colour problems in the lobby and in-game also. I got the WAVistaWin7 patch which fixed the colour problem but left me unable to host unless I used hostingbuddy. Which was not ideal because I used to host my own scheme "Endurance" all the time. It's like Normal but different. I only ever play Endurance and Shopper, so all I have been able to host is shopper.

Recently I got wormkit. It let me host my Endurance scheme, but the colour problem came back in-game. I got the colorfix, didn't do anything. Then today I got CyberShadow's fix, located here:

http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=41652

The first time I hosted after getting the file it worked perfectly. But now since I closed the game and loaded it again, I can't join my own rooms, not even if I try using hostingbuddy. Sometimes it lets me join another player's room, but rarely.

If you need more details I'll try my best to give them. Any help much appreciated.

Recently I got wormkit. Did you activate the WormNAT2 module? If so, does removing it (or not using WormKit) help?

Do you have any firewall or antivirus software? Does temporarily disabling it help?

It would help if you recorded a packet log of a failed attempt to join a game (which you know should be joinable). Instructions here: http://worms2d.info/Recording_a_packet_log

Thanks for the response, CyberShadow.

I did activate WormNAT2. Also tried loading the game without using wormkit. There is currently no method that will let me join a game. Tried turning off my firewall too, no change. I haven't tried turning off my antivirus (Avira) because it never caused a problem before.. but I will try that.

I'll post an error log for you later on.
