i try to install WA (from a PC-magazine called "Bravo Screenfun") on a vista 32 bit home premium pc. But when i start the Setup.exe, the WA preparing for install screen appears (only the picture without any window) and then 20 seconds later the setup.exe closes. Tried also the compatibility modes win 9x up to win xp but that only changes the duration of the prepare screentime.

Can anybody help me?

It might be a problem specific to said magazine CD, but have a look at the Troubleshooting FAQ and see if it helps you:

Install the game from the SETUP directory (or whatever it's called)
There should be an .exe called SETUP or INSTALL. Run the executable, you're good to go.

Worked for me under Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

There's a folder called install here, where is install.exe

There's a folder called install here, where is install.exe

Install.exe is in the Install folder.
lol.

That .exe brings you immediatly to the setup program and from there you can install W:A just fine.
