Thought I'd get a poll going to see what the general consensus is.

Giving us console limitations is lame...

When I saw the steam announcement I jumped off my chair and pre-ordered it :D :D :D

Then I read about what this game is NOT going to have... then I became worried

Optimistic and looking forward, as I do to all PC Worms titles. I trust Team17 enough to give them the benefit of the doubt. All hail the 2D revolution!

Well, I'm optimistic about WR - I can't be disappointed with 2D Worms, that's just impossible - even if they took Worms away and replaced them with flying cows, I would be happy - because it's still 2D!

Worried about the 3d in 2d setting. The art direction makes it look too kiddish where as imo WA looked nicer. But i have always preferred 2d gfx to 3d as the people who do it put so much time into making them look good and the animations look better on 2d things too imo.

The 4 player limit of mp will pee people off i think as in WA u could get quite a few players on a game but personally i only ever play skirmish shopper (they have inf zooks) or play with 1 mate on-line and or the occasional 2v2 shopper.

Worried that after 10 years a new Worms 2D game comes out and turns out to be lame simply because it was a console port, even if upgraded console port.

Same here, I hope Team17 takes the initiative and uses the updates to expand the range of customisation options dramatically ;)

i also love the 3D titels, i am sad that nobody play that titels :( Also Worms Forts, its Funny, hard for noobies , that was the biggest PRob, is was hard to handle all the weapons in 3D. But i love them all :D

But the 2D Titels are the best and i am very happy that WR comes.

I can't stop staring at the preorder screen on Steam and reading about the game.... I'm obsessed and can't wait 3 more weeks.

Worms 4 and worms forts were excellent games. Yes, they were different but they were still excellent.

But, er... I'm not against 3D games and I wouldn't care if they did another one (which is unlikely anyway). I meant if they replaced worms by snails, hedgehogs or - *gulp* - HUMANS, I probably wouldn't play it anymore :p

For me the ****load of weapons (even clones and useless ones) plus the ****load of worms in one match is what makes the game awesome for me and my mates that play it at my house. So I've got my fingers crossed for an update that will deliver both.

Ofc it was a bit ironic response. I just wanted to say that as long as you guys are updating, even with paid DLCs, it'll be fine.
