Hi guys !!!

Greetings from Turkey !!! Me and my 2 friends are waiting for this crazy game to be released and i have a question:

Can we play this game on LAN? Is there a LAN feature for this game? Of course we have got internet connection but sometimes our connection gets broken on certain circumstances so me and my friends would try playing this game on LAN

I see "local multiplayer" feature at Steam page but does it mean LAN? Or hot-seat?

Regards,
Bugra

I think it only features hot-seat mode - does it matter a lot for you?

Actually yes, we will purchase it for playing at work on LAN after shifts, so we dont want to be caught while playing on internet :) LAN is fine here

I'd also be quite disapointed if this doesn't have LAN play. We play it at work also. ;)

If it supports forcing your IP address, and it doesn't work by going through a central server somewhere, you could do it that way. But if not, I doubt it.

(Yet another reason why I'll be sticking with WA)

Most likely not, but you could always do a private server on steam. The ping would be 0ms within a local network.

If it uses Steam's usual methodology of hosting games, it should be fairly easy to set up a LAN game. Even if you hosted an "internet" game, players on the LAN would connect through the LAN - and not through the internet.

I heard that T17 said it doesn't. No source though.
