Hello, Is there ANY tool for making worms 2d based machinima on ANY 2d worms game (it doesn't matter if its a mod for worms Armageddon or some mod for an emulated version of the ds worms games)? Basically what i would want to do, is script worms sequences. an example of the tool would be complete control of the camera, getting the worms to do EXACTLY what you want them to do (no unnecessary sounds, no time limit), basically a WYSISWG type movie editor.

An example of a scene is that some worms are doing target practice, and I want them to aim exactly at certain things. Once again, i'm not sure such a tool exists, but if there is, can you let me know?

We're actually a little old fashioned (http://wormtube.worms2d.info/42/battle_worms) round these parts...

Sorry if I'm not helping. It's really late. I don't think what you're looking for exists, but certainly your best bet would be pestering the two Worms Armageddon developers for it. :o

That's... extremely unlikely. The best thing you're probably gonna get is this: http://www.yoda.arachsys.com/worms/wa/anims/

It's got pretty much all of the animated sprites from W:A. That coupled with flash should be an easy way to make worms animations. :p

Wasn't there a rather long Flash-animated Worms adventure movie, made with the original sprites from that page?
IIRC, it had a single, rogue worm who battled against many foes and travelled around the country.

Start a game, do what you want then watch the replay... it moves with camera positioning etc. too!

An interesting proposition. I suggest you contact Cybershadow (or Deadcode) about perhaps getting a custom patch for W:A - or asking him to include such features in the next beta update release (due sometime either this month or next, I'd imagine).
