Will Worms Reloaded support custom soundbanks like previous Worms games (World Party, Armageddon, Worms 2)?

Custom soundbanks are in my opinion one of the most fun features in Worms series.

Yeah, it could be fun.

But I wonder if those custom soundbanks could be heard by other players in online matches. You know, in Worms Armageddon, if you didn't have the same soundbank, you heard English voices. :-/

It's still loads of fun when playing with your friends behind one PC, we even went as far as recording our own voices for the team the worms belonged to... it was always great fun.

No one else would hear them without downloading them, I would disable that feature first thing as I find it pointless and a waste of my internet quota. It would also greatly increase starting time for matches as you wait for everyone to download the soundbanks from each other.

To be frank, that's because you're in Koala-Land, with its horrible connection to the rest of the world's internet (except Kiwi-Land). ;)

costum hats/forts would destroy the point of buying the pre-order, but not having custom soundbanks/graves/flags would destroy a part of what worms once was.

Also custom hats might destroy atmosphere - We constantly had to face stuff like this:

So if a sound bank editor is coming, I wonder if you can hear other people's ones as well (if you play online)?

If you guys will add this editor, please putt an option to client side disable hearing those and instead hearing Default soundbank, some of us dosen't care about those little things and we prefer smooth game without internet bludgeirnag.

Would be the first Worms game with that option. I think it's unlikely.

First, this would be - let me check - the 5th Worms game with that option, second, Team17 already said they would integrate one if enough people want it, so it's rather likely.

He is not currently available, he's working on Duke Nukem For Ever. :p

That is just a rumor. Fact is, he's working with Valve on a DotA project. He tweeted that on his Twitter account.

Yes i agree with this. I moved all my speech banks around from game to game on the old games and was terribly disappointed when i got the new one and found out they were different formats.

Does anyone out there know how to make .xgs , xsb. , xwb. files out of the old speech folders. (wav)??

If someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it! I don't care so much about the old gravestones and such as much as that would rock if i could transfer over as well.

i have a feeling it was scrapped cuz ppl created too much p**is and the alike and the game is suposed to be for "all ages", i doubt they'd be happy with 7yr-olds watching worms explode into a d*ck grave.
