Why did you decide to reduce this (as compared to WA), by the way?

I believe there excuse was "Map Size" but the pictures of the map editor appear to show rather large maps, maybe maps bigger then W:A.

It might be they just intend to surprise at in the end with there being more worms/teams supported then expected or it will be increased with a patch after release.

It was a design based decision back when we started the Open Warfare series. 6 players meant too much waiting around for a turn. We were much happier with 2-4.

What about the people who enjoy 3v3 games?

Quite a few 3v3 clan games are played on the active league on W:A at the moment.

Alot of active and league playing people on W:A would love to be able to play 4v4.

If some people didn't like to wait around, they have the choice to kick players to make less waiting around for a turn.

But it should be the players decision, players who complain how long it takes when it should be obvious (considering how every turn based game has this problem) why it takes so long should be ignored as they should be smart enough to simply set player limit to a low number, allowing the rest of the player base to be unhampered by this limitation.

I don't think this would work, because there ARE stupid people. There'll always be someone that complains about stuff which is easy to avoid.

Same for quitter issue: We wouldn't have a quitter problem if there were no quitters. If nobody quit, everything was fine. But still, people keep quitting. Odd huh?

I have a question, how many weapons will have the worms reloaded? Will have the same weapons as worms 2 armageddon? Or will they add more weapons?

- 47 weapons [from the Steam page]

- Regarding the player limit. As an adult I like to make decisions for myself, and if a bunch of friends want to get lost in a game for 2 hours then we should be able to. My parents stopped wiping my bottom and I stopped wearing a bib from a very young age, so the reasons given are a little depressing. I can't ever remember people complaining about games taking too long in WA and WWP, and having this feature reduced 'could' be seen by the community as a negative. Steam games tend to bring bad vibes with them such as forced local servers and worse bugs than non DRM games (boxed games), and having this minor negative so early just inhances thoughts of Valve being poison.

Personally I don't think it's the end of the world, but reducing features here and there could place it second best.

By the way what are the "x6 Worms Hats and x10 Forts in-game items"? Are these really 'exclusive' or could they be unlocked from playing?

i hope it will be 6 players, just like in worms armageddon. 3v3 clan wars is very fun.
