From the first time me and my friend have tried to play together on this game, we have had problems. Whether it's him not being able to join the game I invited him to, or just not being able to find a Player Match of any sort at all, it takes on average about 25 minutes to even get ONE other person in a game with us. We've only been able to find two other competent players to play with us about 5-6 times since we've bought this game at release. Albeit we don't play all the time (mainly due to the multiplayer issues.)

We play other games perfectly with each other, so don't go off saying it's our connections. Or our NAT, or whatever defense you want to put in place of the actual reason behind this. It's due to the neglect of the matchmaking system Team17 just threw together and sold to us. And I feel cheated that they have done absolutely nothing to even try and fix it. All they care about is money, and that's evident in the Battle Pack they're selling now that didn't patch a single thing in the matchmaking either.

So is there any hope for those of us that want to play this game with our friends? Cause that's pretty much the only reason I bought this.

Also since Worms 3D multiplayer has been broken on every game so far. Even the DS version of Open Warfare 2 which wasn't developed by Team17 at all. Though Battle Islands will feature online multiplayer now my hopes are down for a well-working system (especially because it's Nintendo)
Long story short: for a flawless online experience you can wait till you're blue in the face. Don't expect it to ever happen again.
