I've posted some ideas of achievements in another forum, because of the image restriction.

The link is below here, where you can get access and look at medals. I've put 105 achievements to collect, but some of them have been already included in the final game, said by others or impossible to include on Steam (example: the Ace medal). Consequently, I'm reporting and translating only some of them.

The topic is in Italian, like the medals description, so I'll write the way to get the achievements into English language here.

- Space Cadet: Win a match with worms equipped with Spacesuit
- Girl Power: Win a match with Worms dressed as women
- Viewatcher: Play a match in every Theme of the game (minimum 2 rounds, no rope races)
- Defense keeper: Play a match with every fort of the game.
- One per type: Win a match in every default classified scheme of the game.
- Five per type: Win 5 matches in every default classified scheme of the game.

- Rocket Jump: Go from your opponent's fort to yours with a homing missile, killing the last enemy worm.
- Madness: Win the match plopping the last enemy worm with the prod.
- Big Damage: Inflict 150 HP or more damage points to a single enemy worm.
- Hawk Eye: Kill a worm with a shotgun and not seeing it on your screen.
- Top Gun: Win the match with an airstrike
- Animal Crossing: Get the victory with an animal
- Karatè Worm: Win the match with a melee weapon (punch, prod, dragon ball or baseball bat)
- Siege Invader: In a default Fort match, assault the opponent fort with a worm of yours and win the match without letting the invader to die.
- Grape Fruit: Win the round with a banana bomb
- Mortal Combo: Kill two worms in a situation where the death of first worm causes the death of the second.

- Red Bull: Get the triumph in a round without losing a single worm.
- Santa Clouds: Heal one of your worms with a thunder and win the match
- Curse of Shaman: Kill an opponent worm under the effects of marked for death
- Attached to Water: Get the victory with an earthquake.
- The Sentrynel: Kill 50 worms with a sentry gun
- Attractive worm: Attract 50 mines, object or weapons that could kill an opponent worm.
- Buffalo Bill: Obtain the victory with a Buffalo of Lies.
- Iron Skin: Win 5 matches during sudden Death
- Engineering: Use 200 times the blowtorch and/or pneumatic drill
- Sucker Punch: Kill an opponent with a fire punch while being under the surface of terrain.
- Hidden and dangerous: Win a match with at least two worms covered in unreachable spots.
- Shadow Thief: Use 100 times the Steal ability
- Assassin: Use 100 times the Invisibility weapon.
- End of the World: Win a match using an Armageddon.
- Merciless: In a 2vs2 match, kill both the last opponents' worms
- At your interest: Win a match killing both the enemies and your ally
- Full Cover: Sacrifice yourself to let your ally triumphant.
- Fond of explosives: Use for 500 times dynamites
- Divinity Warrior: Win 5 matches while all the players have used Worship.
- CopyWorm: Get the victory using the same weapon of your opponent in the previous turn.
- Double Knockout: Go to draw in a round and win the next one.
- Bloody Bullet Ace: Use 200 times the Uzi.
- WormTamer: In a 4-player match, kill at least 6 opponent worms.
- Teaser: Resurrect an opponent worm with thunder and then win the round.

PS: In fact, the lightning strike is translated into Italian as Fulmine and not as Attacco Lampeggiante (and Fulmine is Thunder in English)

Half of those are just grinding...

and? It adds a sense of progression for months. So theres always something to do when you come back.

Half of those are grinding cause u get bored if u get all achivments very fast ... it makes it more fun if u see aaaaa achivment niice .... then afther great playing u see aaaargh very nice achivment !!!!!

if u play with the task achivments u may get alot and too fast so its not that fun

anyway there is both Grind achivments and the Task achivments .. theres 135 of them so ... half of them ... 135/2

Well, to be honest, the new bunk buster is basically a mole bomb that moves vertically down instead of moving at an angle.

The fact it's an airstrike is an important variable which makes it differ immensly from a mole bomb.

I think Thurbo's point is that you can only drop a Bunker Buster from the top, plus not getting it in caverns.

I bet if Team17 didn't put any achievements, a lot fewer would complain. Do achievements really matter that much?

But hey, it's a PC release. We could get more later if they think it worthwhile. I mean just look at TF2.

They decided to use steamworks.....so yes, IMO

They do matter, if they reflect some very hard or crazy tasks that you accomplished.

I do detest achievements like "finish level 5", "finish level 10" or "finish all levels" though.
Those simply display your progress, which is rather kept in plain numeric stats.

Using flame weapon 200 times is boring. I'd prefer challenges like finish a certain challenge with x amount of worms remaining, in y amount of turns or z amount of time. Leaderboards with replays would be better for displaying those kinds of statisitics.
