What are the sources you referenced, to fix the colour problems W:A has? Just so we have somewhere to link other devs to if we believe there products to be affected in a similar fashion.

No sources, just guessing and experimentation. Also it's not a complete fix, in some cases the palette will blink or remain incorrect (but can be fixed with a button press). I may write a detailed post about this in the future, but the gist of it is to set the GDI palette together with the DirectX palette.
