I've tried almost everything (like wkColorFix, leaving explorer window open, killing explorer.exe, indexing service off...)

I don't get how I keep csrss.exe from stealing my palette.

I have Windows Vista and suprise! I've got color bug! And nothing works! WWP, W2, W:A.... Not one of these work.
I've tried Compatibility Toolkit, keeping the folder open while playing, alt+tab smashing, WWP color patch, ALL compatibility modes....
NONE OF THESE WORK
What is wrong? Why can't I play without broken colors?
If someone sees this and could know the answer please pm asap.

You should really use the W:A support forum for such questions. But before that, you should start with the Troubleshooting FAQ on this very website, first. --Vladimir 23:12, 10 June 2010 (UTC)(http://worms2d.info/User_talk:CyberShadow)
Nope, none of those work. And I tried all of them. Are there any more solutions? --Tiku-Orava 10:27, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

I find that hard to believe. You don't have any terminatable processes in your palette.log and killing Explorer.exe doesn't help? Also, this is not a support forum --Vladimir 10:29, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

double post edit
Would you please take a screen with your camera when the problem happens? I hope that you're not confusing the colour problem with the screen cluttering like this guy did:

Took a pic with a camera because screenshots taken with print screen and fraps made the picture with the real palette.

That also happened to me (The real palette thing)

Firstly, have you tried closing all applications and processes that aren't essential to run W:A? Especially desktop enhancers (sidebars, desktop widgets etc.)

Also, have you checked if the palette also appears in-game?

That also happened to me (The real palette thing)It will "happen" to everybody - this may give you an idea of why it's so complicated to fix, it's not even possible to detect when W:A's palette has been corrupted.

I've done that many, many times.

But today, I tried that again. And guess what, it worked! I stopped all but system components and now the game behaves normally. I don't know why this haven't worked earlier, but I don't care as far as the game works. But thanks for CyberShadow for making me trying this again. :)

Now I have to know which program it is, but that could be easy I think.
