So guys any news from beta? Whats going on? Are we waiting for nothing? Are we going to wait for a long time? What are the issues you are working on? Any new ideas that you are trying to add? Any official news to feed our hunger even a small bit?

We are blindly discussing some stuff with no official responds.So please give us some information about the progress of the beta/game.

The beta is over and bug fixing continues, nothing more to say as yet because the game is still a few months away from completion. We will release more info nearer the date as we have other titles out before reloaded. :)

tbh i'm tired of playing the psn worms game but still my favourite by far i just hate the lack of serious competition as alot of the time i play against players who ethier kill their worms for me or are extremely easy to beat. i really want to try the PC version in hope to enjoy better level of competition & graphics,its going to be my 1st steam purchase but it must be compatible with the xbox360 controller for wondows otherwise i will just have to stick to the psn version as i'm very used to the controller & i think its perfect for the game. :(

I'd like to challenge you but I don't own a PS3 :p
However, agreed, in OW2 it was very annoying because everytime you faced a "noob" in ranked and you won you'd hardly gain any points, it's even more likely they quit and you lost points.

Therefore it was hard to get on top of the leaderboards but after two years of playing online I eventually did it ;)

Overall score here in Germany was around 87% which is obviously not bad at all (4th best score in XBox online game section).

I guess so far only new stuff will be added, but what would you expect?

Thats you're opinion and you're entitled to it. In my opinion Worms belongs on consoles hooked up to a Full HD television, played from a coach with your friends and family.

Only if you can each have a mouse, mouse pad, keyboard and a desk.

It can be played with any console, you just have to get used to it.

Apart from F-keys and other little features a few PC versions offered, I have to say it's been easier for me on a handheld.

They only let us wait... no price, no screenshots, no videos, no specifications, no release date, no website, no beta info. Not the slightest bit of news. The only news there is is that the game still is 'months away from completion' :-/

What do you mean no beta info? We already had a beta. It ran for a few weeks. Wasn't that bad, but i concur with the estimation that it may take a few months. No one knows how much Singleplayer content already existed. I think they wanted to get the multiplayer right first, then add Singleplayer later. Worms was always about Multiplayer.

That was a closed beta and we aren't allowed to tell anyone any infos due to the NDA.

Wait Late Summer....they're releasing the game during August-Semptember

Well, I make an hyphotesis, that could be the most logical. Which main event is there in August? Simple, the Gamescon 2010 in Cologne, the 17th August to be exact.
In my opinion, seen that this game is both a return to PC games by T17 and they're coming back with 2D, they'll be there at 100%. And guess what? They're revealing all details right there, few days before the launch of game, as they did with Alien Breed Impact for PC.
Why Gamescon you think? Well, there is the cybermania games competition and the final tournaments of QuakeLive (rated as one of the best free online FPS), where an Italian like me is a finalist.

Remember...this is just only an opinion.

Also, it's not that far from UK where Team17 is located. I'd like to see that, i live near cologne, just on the other side of the river Rhine.
