Anyway, I can't uninstall the game for some reason. Every time I try to do so, a message saying Could not open INSTALL.LOG file would show up.

Why do I want to uninstall the game?

Okay, admittedly... I've installed the Trymedia version, meaning to say that it's the trial version.

I have the full version of the game on a CD, but because the game isn't compatible with Windows XP, it doesn't run properly However, I didn't know about this at first and thought that something is wrong with the CD. Therefore, I tried to see if I can download the game from the Internet and thus ended up with the trial version.

After that, I learned about the game's incompatibility with Windows XP and started looking for ways to get the original full version to work properly, but at the same time, I want to uninstall the trial version, but...

I know that this place only helps people who are playing the CD version, but please at least tell me how to uninstall the trial version. I have the CD, so please help me if you are willing...

I wouldn't really understand why you'd seek support here instead of contacting TryMedia. I can only recommend deleting the files off your hard drive.

You mean to simply throw those files into the Recycle Bin? And do I contact Trymedia from their website?

All right, I'll probably ask one last thing, though this one is somewhat off-topic.

The problem I have with my full game is that the game basically freezes whenever I try to start match. Even worse, it may even exit by itself whenever I try to go to the multiplayer screen. Created teams may even disappear when I return to the game afterwards! Also, the stage editor cannot be used, or so it seems. Basically, nothing happens at all when I try to click anything in the stage editor screen. Also, I noticed that the wrenches in the background move very fast, faster than when I played the game in the past. The same goes with the start up screen (especially that explosion scene)...

I have looked all over the Internet and saw that many people also have this problem, but I want to clarify if their problem is the exact same problem as mine. I still can't find a solution to this either... Perhaps, I haven't been looking or trying hard enough to get the game to work. Is it too much to ask for help here or can someone at least show me a site/forum/board that talks and offers a solution to this issue about this issue?

This is an obvious question mentioned in the stickies, but have you installed the latest Beta update yet?

When I installed the 3.0 patch, the game never come on screen no matter how many times I click on it, and if I use the 3.6 beta patch, I get the "insert CD" error.

Yes, so I changed to using only the 3.0 patch, but that results in the game never showing up no matter how many times I click on the its icon.

Please read the instructions carefully. Do not install the patch manually!

To clarify, "patch" = 3.0, "Beta update" = 3.6.29.0
