Just saw that the 360 version of Worms 2: Armageddon will soon get a DLC.

Will the PC version also get the Battle pack DLC or is the Battle pack DLC an upgrade for the console useres which will make PC and console versions equal (means, that for now the PC version has more weapons, themes, missions and whatever)?

o_O"

I would really like to know that, because if T17 won'T support Worms Reloaded on the PC with DLC like they're doing with the consoles, then ... well. :/

Just look at CAPCOM with their Super Street Fighter 4 (although we have a PC version of SF4). At the moment, there is no sight of a PC version of this game! Reason? Nothing. There is no statement from the devs.

I'm just scared about the fact, that PC users are getting treated like trash at the moment from a lot of devs.

It should be pre included for the PC version or if its given in an update, then that update should be free. ON PC no one pays for DLC..thats how it has been traditionally.

You're wrong. Look at franpa's statement.

Personally, I have no grudges against DLC's. But at least they should be released simultaneously with the console ones on PC! Because I don't want to buy a PC game from which I know that it won't get treated that good as its console offshoot. Please TEAM17, don't you want my money (and you won't get it if there will be no DLC for PC)? :/

I would always rather pay for well rounded expansions or sequels then small plugins coined as DLCs. Screw the term DLC. Just because some companies love to milk their customers doesn't mean every other company should as well.

Besides, Team17 already claimed that the PC version will have more features then the console version, so it is safe to assume that they are porting some of those features back in with the Battle Pack. And you get to pay for them because Microsoft hates companies giving out freebies :D

The DLC is nothing more than a few more missions, themes, voices etc.
When you remember Worms XBla had just 3 themes, Team17 offered DLCs as well thus it had all 6 themes in the end.
When they ported it to PS3, all six themes were in from the beginning.

Plus the PC version is called to be better than the XBla one thus it wouldn't make any sence if there were less features.

New missions, weapons, features, game modes, 10 new Forts, more voices, new personalisation items and much more

Sorry, but I don't want to miss those things, especially not the new weapons. But yeah, let's hope that the PC version already will have the DLC installed.

No, most companies delay the PC version of there software because it is substantially less time consuming and risky to pirate a PC game then a console game. Consoles generally require hardware modding and warranty voiding (except the Wii >.>") for pirated games to work.

It makes sense to maximize profits on the less pirated platforms first.

Thats still pretty good DLC though......

I guess even if they don't include the DLC, the game will be far superior to the xbox360 version.

Could we please get an official statement about for this question (?), because this is really important for me.

I don't think I need to ask to be honest.
I bet 1 million bucks it will be included.

As an option to purchase through an online store feature built in to the game.

The battle pack DLC was not mentioned for the PC, but only for the 360. Great work T17. :(

Stop worrying man. As thurbo said, it will 99.9 % be included. Team17 have already said PC version will be extended version of all console titles of late so what more do you need for convincing?? ALso xbox is getting the battle pack because all that stuuf was made for PC and it will be ported to xbox...Team17 have said they want to make the PC game special, so no need to worry, we will have plenty more than the consoles
=)

That may be because the PC version of the game isn't even released yet. The xbox360 version of the game is already out so it would make sense to annoucnce DLC for it.
