There is a question that came into my mind recently. Will Team17 cover an official league site to the game as an opportunity for competitive gameplay? Or at least do they have any intention to do so? Because if not, then The Ultimate Site's staff might consider creating a part on the site dedicated to W2A.

It would be great to have WA and W2A community on same site. :D TUS has the best administrated system league i've ever seen.

I can promise that there will be a league for Worms Reloaded on a professional site. (not from t17). I'll note some information befor WR will be released ;)

The game will come with a built in ladder. But I think it will be very basic compared to third party league plataforms for WA. Ages ago, when there were ranks and league channels in Wormnet team17 had ladders on their website, as well as season winners of each league channel.

The only situation were a third party league would be great for Reloaded is if clans get popular in the game.

Easy to say, hard to do it. Federations need to reach a general agreement. We decided to do internal championship in our italian federation, but we're open to international leagues.

No, I was commenting the last sentence you said. About the clans to become popular in Worms Reloaded, you know? Well, it is easy to think, but hard to put into practice. Lot of work to do in order to get results.
