View Full Version : Fix the physics, please.

I've played the Xbox 360 version a fair bit, and the physics feel really random. I never feel like I'm in full control.

The original Worms Armageddon, however, feels like a simulation game. Everything happens exactly the way you would expect it to.

I can see how some new and/or casual players could get discouraged when old and/or hardcore players use an ultra-accurate system to their great advantage. That's why I propose a mix of the 2. A low learning curve, but with enough finesse to get some serious competition going.

I'm guessing that's harder to pull off than it sounds, but I think it would be awesome if it could be done! ;)

I agree.....the physics differ too much from WA.....but in WA things happen in "the way you wold expect it to" just coz u (like most of the ppl here, including me) played WA for years......but W2A is a new game, with new physics (i dont think they are better, dont missunderstand me) so I dont think they will change the W2A physics to fit the WA old ones.
I love the WA/WWP worm physics, i mean the worms have the perfect weight, but the weapon physics of WA isnt perfect (in the latest ver of rubberworm it was close to that).

PS: sry about bad english.....im a bit sleepy now -.-

Well, in my experience the physics on W2:A seem rather glitchy, at least in regards to object interaction with terrain. Grenades sometimes get stuck or bounce in a way you wouldn't expect it to. Worms also get stuck a lot when roping, and it often causes the rope to gain a lot of momentum and then you are left bouncing all over the place, it makes it harder to control. Sheep are also considerably less reliable than ever.

Maybe, but I still think weapon physics are improved refering to OW2 and W:SO, in which grenades for example were completely uncontrollable.
