You've got to help me to find out a way to avoid quitters. I heard there is one but I dont know anymore. However, today in the morning I was at spot 17 (DS version). I played about 10 games and every single player quit. I eventually found one who didnt just to see that I dropped to 20 afterwards.

Isnt there really any possibility to avoid quitters? I wish ranked games weren't included because they are completely no fun which this game should actually be. Everytime I search for a ranked game I have to fear of my opponent might quits and thats really unfair because I win almost 90% of the ranked games I play.

Just what the §$%&§ is up with this game? I wouldn't even care for quitters if the winner gained the points which he actual deserved, no matter wether the enemy quit or surrendered.

BTW, Where has the good old Worms: Armageddon time gone? It seems the newer games are full of noobs that dont know how to play Worms and if the opponent wins they just pull their DS off.

Don't tell me "Go playing WA then" because I actually LOVE the new games with the new graphics and weaponry. It's the players that annoy me.:mad:

Your Mommy (Probably the worst quitter ever... playing with him since years and still haven't finished at least one game yet.)
Màdnes Combat (This guy is gonna be the worst quitter ever... Your Mommy 2 :D)

lol only two more quitters and I dropped to 24. Should I better give up playing this game? :(

I don't know how or if they can push updates for the DS, I don't know if its possible... I don't have any of the games because I don't own those systems

Yes, thank you, Im informed about that, but it doesnt help me for this game since fixing DS games does not work... And I hoped someone might knows a trick to avoid losing points if anyone quits.:confused:

If it happens to everyone then everyone has the same chance of losing rank and no one is disadvantaged.

You're joking! Seeing the problem from this side of view... as a feature of the game... well, but this would make the game even worse. This is as if you would win a game of soccer and afterwards you got a 50 per cent chance your victory will be accepted, because the loser team got the chance of quitting the game right before the playtime is over.

Like this nobody would be interested in playing soccer anymore, right?

And there are also unlucky people that always get involved with quitters and there are people that are facing the pro players who won't ever quit every single time they play. This is possible, thus it's not right.

Well done and people would still play soccer/worms or anything just for fun, even if half their games weren't officially counted because it's fun to play. Losing rank because someone else quit sucks and hopefully they do something about that in the next game.

Yes, thats the great part of the Worms series: The play-for-fun part. I can't remember players quit constantly in WA/WWP, and when they did, oh well, it was just for fun:D

Sad in OW2 DS is, though, not to have the ability to host and you will just (hopefully) face pro's that don't quit in ranked games. In random games 70% of the players will still choose "Total Wormage", oh man...

A bit odd you can't play a non-ranked game but if you play with friends:-/ I have to forget about the rankings when I play on-line then, coz I hate it to drop in rankings. But losing is part of the game, and in non-ranked matches I wouldn't care...

Yes, I did, in the beginning. I stopped when I had about 30 quits in my list, not to mention you also get a disconnect when someone else quits, lol. I know its a shame, but I had no idea that the online play is crazed... e.g. the opponent loses points if anyone quits. Actually, I just didnt wanna wait for my turn to choose white flag when it was quite sure I lost the match. Oh, and I also quit every time when there occured a ranked match either with Total Wormage or Shoppa. I just didn't wanna waste my time :D But as I said, I keep playing on now, even with such crappy schemes... You should know its not possible to reach spot 1 by quitting ;)

Today I have about 140 disconnects due to quitters... OMG

So... from the beginning I wondered why there is a player called "Etwas (Ger)" at spot one although I never ever faced him.
I still haven't. But now I see the reason why they don't play anymore.

Being spot one is absolutely no fun... first finding games is rare then, second, you still lose points due to quitters and you'd rather drop to spot two instead of gaining some more points.

Thanks to "Màdnes Combat" with who I played lots of games and won everyone, just to see him stealing my deserved points by quitting afterwards.
As if that wasn't enough, he's actually a skilled player, he just cannot lose, and when he faces players more skilled than himself, he just quits.

However, due to this I decided to give up playing this game (unless I drop, lol) and I'll see if I can reach spot one in Worms Reloaded and Battle Islands as well. :cool:

EDIT: Started playing again for some reason. I think I played about 20 matches and almost nobody quit! Its kinda a miracle :p

Anyway....the user called 'Constugg' is really annoying me

He always quits after 1 or 2 shots. He is on worms alot and never completes a game.

If you come across him, refuse to play him. He should be banned!!!!!

I'm currently not really interested in playing this anymore. I do from time to time but I'm awaiting Worms: Battle Islands and Starcraft 2 so these are the games I'll play instead. Ah, and at the moment I try completing Rayman 3 and Worms 4 :cool:
But enough of that, if you want to arrange times, this is a very good place (http://xat.com/for_all_Worms_Players). You can even chat during the game! There are almost only players from the top ten for some reason (hardcore players?), however it's really fun to play a four players race or deathmatch, so you should try. :)
