I am trying to figure out the rational behind using the "X" button to alter the rotation of the girders. The "Y" button is used on all other weapons to alter their state (direction and timing). I didn't play Worms on XBLA as i've been out of Worms for several years (played earlier PC releases many moons ago). I was told by a friend that in Worms on XBLA that "Y" was used to rotate the girders. Was there a reason for the change to "X". It just seems so un-intuitive to have one weapon use "X" for altering state, while all others use "Y". Any clarification would be great.

I found this really confusing too, as did my wife.

Personally I think it's ridiculous, lol. X is for dropping a weapon from a rope and for jumping... tacking on rotate girder to that is sooo strange.

my guess is that its to prevent people from jumping while placing a girder? since you can move and jump after you place it, as opposed to worms xbla, when you placed it, it ended your turn.
