I just downloaded worms 4 from trymedia.com (29.99)

I downloaded the 1.01 patch twice but the installer wont recognise worms 4.

I am a Vista user if that has anything to do with it.

Is there a manual way to install the patch and bypass the installer?

TryMedia games are notoriously unreliable with patches - first check that the game isn't already pre-patched.

Failing that, the best thing to do is to get a refund and buy a DVD version of the game from Team17's online shop, at a fraction of the price: https://secure.team17.com/browse.html?area=detail&skuid=72


It does say that there are issues with Vista when played W4M - have a search of this forum as there may well be some solutions to overcome those problems.

Either way the TryMedia version is a total waste of money - get a refund and buy the DVD version!
