With The Sims 3's imminent release, it's only fair to bring back one of this forum's greatest traditions: making fun of ourselves! For those unfamiliar, we throw a bunch of forum-lookalikes into The Sims and let them take care of themselves without intervention, laughing our asses off at how terrible we are. - Some of these choices are terrible! Like hair, which is either "normal" or some completely crazy choices. Or lousy beard/moustache combos. So you all will probably end up looking fairly samey. Ugh.
- Body sliders are a lot more restricted. You can't make extremely absurd-looking faces anymore. I might just have to make Aku look like himself instead of viking dude. :(
- On the other hand, colors and clothing are crazy customizable. Pretty much any color can be changed, even colors in textures, and you can even mix textures up so you could have a shirt with a brick texture!
- It seems to have much more built-in custom content support. You can just get packs of new stuff, like textures, furnitures, clothing, hair, houses, etc, and the game will install it all for you.

Also my game is in portuguese and I never played Sims 2, in case I seem too awe-struck by "new features". :p

shame about the viking look, but perhaps you can find suitable clothes to make up for it.

I know what you mean about the hair - it was the same in Sims 2. There were about 3 or 4 styles that you might actually use for a proper game and the other 20-odd were useless.

I doubt it. I haven't gamed on this PC since my proper card broke. I'm tempted to try and fix it but if something were to go wrong and my whole PC died I'd be much worse off.

Ok, so it's the moment you've all been waiting for!
I mostly made these based on your pics and making you all distinguishable and not become the tshirt-and-jeans-with-a-nice-haircut-crew.

However, feel free to be picky on it all you want, you got around the weekend until I start the game. Easiest stuff to change are colors and textures. You can have any color you want anywhere, they give you a color picker. And the textures are all vectors or something so you can change their colors too and they resize well etc.
Clothing is also pretty easy to change and mix+match, specially with the above features. Just try to stay distinguishable.
If you're that bothered, here are the horrible hairstyles (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y237/supsuper/Sims17/terrible_hair.png) and beards (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y237/supsuper/Sims17/terrible_beard.png) you can pick from. They look a lot worse in use.

Anyways, the game only takes up to 8 people in the same household, so I split you into two teams. This should make you easier to manage, plus Sims 3 actually lets you go over to the neighbour's house so you should still meet up. So I decided to make Aku an old grisly viking again so there'd be a comedy relief in each place.

Also fullscreen shots (Print Screen) come out a lot darker for some bizarre reason (the game's full of graphical glitches), but by the time we're in-game I can use the built-in screenshot tool to fix that.

Both teams will be placed on neighbour houses so they can still meet each other, and every day or so I will swap gameplay between each.
