Can't be helped. Its always been that way with games using peer2peer connections and a global ranking system. Its not a new thing, its not something exclusive to this game, its not something that can be practically solved.

Sure it's impossible to stop the other guy from leaving the game when they are losing, thats obvious.

What is absolutely simple however, is on disconnection from the game the player in the winning position scores the appropriate points.

Not exactly rocket science is it.

That's even worse, because it means that the quitters keep getting points rather than keeping even points. As soon as they start scraping ahead at all, they can quit then and win straight off.
And if there's a limit of that there must have been dealt 50% damage to one of the teams, then they only have to play until right before 50%, and if they're not winning they can quit at that point and still cause a draw.

I think you mean if the player currently losing quits, then the other player gets the points.

I got both UK and US acount but none of the shops has a patch.
Does it update the game automaticly or how does it get patched???

I've experienced a good handful of disconnections in 2-player games (at least 10 in the last week), and in every one it was directly after something happened in the game that put that player in a bad position. Too much coincidence to be a disconnection rather than a quit.

No, what I mean is that people purposefully disconnect their WiFi so that the game registers as a disconnection, rather than quitting normally which (AFAIK) counts as a surrender.

Some people really are sad if they purposely disconnect the wi-fi!!

Back to the patch, now they've fixed the search for ANY game type I'm getting a load of available games every time I do a search, but is there any way of knowing whether the game is ranked and what weapon style it is before joining?

In fact, if you join a 2 player game, even when the game is started do you know whether it's ranked or not??

I mean, a ranked game will always be 2-player but a 2-player game won't always be ranked.

If you want to play specific game styles and match types then define them in the search.

I thought ranked games might only show if you search for Ranked but I haven't tested if they show up in the Anyone list.

I was just trying this but my wifi has too much traffic to do a quick and worthwhile test.

Nope its not invisible...

Yes it's supposed to be automatic (you run the game and before it even starts, if it finds an update, it asks if you want to download it). I ran the game with accounts from three different countries but it didn't ask me to update (it could just be because I originally downloaded it from the US store instead of the EU one).

Well i didnt get the patch yet then so guess its soon to come.

I think someone mentioned that you can force it to update by deleting it from your PS3 and downloading it again from the PlayStation Store.

I don't know for sure, though.
