I read this thread title saying something with "WormNET 4.0 name registration". I must say that I wasn't patient enough to read through all the 29 pages, so I'd like to ask here: why did I never hear anything about a new WormNET, skipping 1 version? Is this just a typo? I hope not. Everyone loves to play Worms via internet, and afaik the online possibilities have never been al dente. So this would be a revolution for W:A and maybe W:WP.

I'm not talking about whether it's registration or pre-registration. I'm talking about the 4.0 which I never heard of before. Of course I know what pre-registration is, but it's not the question of this thread. Or does it mean that all the registrations from WormNET 2.0 will be deleted and everyone has to register again, but WormNET won't be changed?

There aren't any registrations in Wormnet 2.

Wormnet 4 is the hypothetical name for the updated Wormnet when W:A 4.0 comes along sometime in the next Millenia.

Why is there even the idea of a 4.0 patch?

So one day WA can have more features, secure logins and ranks back again?

AFAIK, this is still the way it's supposed to be done: an email to everyone that posted in the thread with a link to the registration, a (few) days prior to opening.
