So 26 weapons/items (if you count skip go and surrender). I miss the parachute.

It looks to me like W:OW2 + baseball bat - boomerang, lightning, magnets, buffalo, and so on.

I hope the XBLA/PC version has more, to be honest.

i would say that the "tactical" weapons are missing compared to WOW 2, for example parachute, boomerang, sentry etc, and the ninja rope is harder to manage, it makes the game less strategic

It will. I expect most of the WOW2 weapons plus fire weapons.

The PSN selection is strange, almost like it started development during or before WOW2.

There aren't any hidden weapons. If it had more weapons than Worm Armageddon then that would make sense to hide some or at least make it so you have to unlock them.
