Hi, everyone. I have WA installed on my C: drive and I was happy with it being there until I noticed that my C: drive was almost full. I am considering uninstalling WA and reinstalling it to another drive I have. Does anyone anticipate this causing any problems? When I downloaded Ubuntu I sort of screwed up my harddrive because I didn't give Windows enough harddrive space and my C: drive ended up being too small, but I do have another drive available on windows. Any thoughts?

Should work just fine.

In fact, you can just copy and paste the files. There is one registry entry you might need to change, but not many things use it, so you'll probably be all right.

It's easy.
1) Backup your complete WA installation folder. (Do this every few months to be up-to-date.)
2) Install the game in the new location. (This will create the necessary registry entries.)
3) Copy over your backup folder. (All updates, user files, maps etc. are back.)

Also clean up the User/Games and User/Logs folders in wa once in a while. It can eat up hundreds of megabytes with replays of the games you played.

Thanks, guys. I'll do as you say and I hope to see you on Wormnet. Take care.

Also clean up the User/Games...

No! xD

Archive them and move them to another partition or burn them to a CD/DVD. Felt the need to say this as I was watching replays of some of my first games on-line.

Good idea. I decided to keep all my games. Here are the steps I followed in case someone else needs to install worms to another directory:
1. Copy the MicroProse folder and put it on the drive with more space
2. Uninstall worms using the uninstaller of the MicroProse folder on the drive with little space.
3. Install worms again, but to the new drive.
4. Overwrite the new Microprose folder with the back up one

This all did the trick for me. However, I did notice that the game had music turned on. I don't know how this option was turned on after installing the game to the other drive. In any case, it was no big deal. I turned it off and all is well. That music is creepy. :)

That is because the setting is saved in the registry and not in a file.

As I said, just moving the whole folder would have worked fine, as long as you boot W:A once after moving it before attempting to play replays, etc. The only thing off the top of my head that would have broken is SoundEddy, and to be honest, who uses that? :p
