All of it.

All of it.

I have a depressingly large enough post count as it is. I don't need MORE posts counting towards it.....

avatar absurdity still doesn't count, correct?

Correct. And nor does the ultra-secret mod forum. Otherwise I'd have overtaken you long ago with all the infraction notices that get posted in there :p

I think the post counter should be viewable to anybody with OD access. (you'd get to see everybody's counter)

Had a quick scan through the adminCP on the realVG forums (running vB3.8, rather than vB3.7) and it seems that's not possible. Post count display is a global thing rather than a usergroup thing.

It can be done using template editing but get a life.

AndrewTaylor

I thought the point of this exercise was to demonstrate that FutureWorm should get a life?

worMatty

We can't really do that without posting and proving we need to get ones, too.

Just fake it.

Look, I got my sixes. :)

What is this "life" thing you're all talking about, why would I want one, where can I get them, how much are they and are demo versions available?

Vader
11 Mar 2009, 15:11
This is life, the demo. (http://wormsarmageddon.team17.com/main.html?page=good&area=demo)

Where can I get a version of Life that's Mac compatible?

Vader
11 Mar 2009, 15:15
Life is not compatible with Apple products of any variety.

So iLife is a lie then?

Vader
11 Mar 2009, 15:22
An iLie, no less.

iLife does exist but it's an imitation and frequently breaks. Repairing an iLife is near impossible so the only option then is to buy a new iLife.

Life can't be replaced but it fubars less frequently.

That demo of Life doesn't work on my Windows XP.

You're using the rubbish forum style!

Vader
19 Mar 2009, 09:24
I use the default one. I always found the purple one quite horrible.

edit: I just swapped to see what al the fuss is about and I have to say, the purple colour scheme really doesn't appeal to my eyes. It's pretty damn ugly, I reckon, which is strange because none of the individual colours offend me, per sé.

I support this product/statement 100%.

Bah!
MtlAngelus has to use his awesome avatar again, that can detect if a user uses the wrong forum style and thus sucks.

Vader

Wait, which one's wrong?

Wait, which one's wrong?
The non-retro-purple ones of course.

Retro purple fixed is even better.

New monitors make the bright white colors in the default style hurt my eyes. Although they also make the retro text really tiny.

Increase your font DPI in Windows then. Although I think this might impede on W:A playing, can't remember if that was fixed...

SupSuper

The font size is absolute so it isn't affected by DPI. (and W:A works fine)

If a new monitor is too bright to use a white background then surely your monitor just needs its brightness turned down?
If i use the darker background I get eye strain so I endup with white background anyway.

Also posting mostly to see when I jpined because I have no idea where any of my other posts are on here.

When I search the entire forum for all my posts it only ranges from 2 September 2002 to 24 June 2003.

That's probably because it caps it at 500 posts. You have to use the memberlist advanced search.

Xinos
28 Mar 2009, 13:58
It seems I have 2707 posts by trying to find my user with the "greater or equal to" post count filter.

Isn't that a bit low? Atleast I have 30'th place top poster :p

*hangs head* I've broken the 11k mark...

Pickleworm
28 Mar 2009, 15:06
1693. Of course this would probably be significantly higher if OD was counted

Xinos
28 Mar 2009, 15:56
If I only could set the search's "find posts from" to a specific date I could search OD at 500 post intervals.

I've probably got a tiny postcount compared to most of you in here, but I'm not sure I even know how to check it.

Oh, here we are. 1795, apparently.
