I couldn't help it!!!

After a rather long and tedious road (much thanks to all my buddies online and the rest of the MnP artists), the next installment in the MnP series of Worms: Armageddon levels has arrived. Since Jabba's Palace would never see a "Next Gen" version created, the next best, and really the BETTER option, was the Great Pit of Carkoon from Return of the Jedi.

The back story on this one is a bit loony, but the gameplay and the satisfaction of a hard days work on this map allows me to proudly present this a whole two days earlier than predicted!

MnP's plans after this newest addition to the family will probably begin its baby steps in a couple of days. This thread (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38099) contained a poll that has given us direction and it seems as though the next map will either be Alcatraz or the Facing Dojos level. Of course, who knows what might come up next. Another idea I was considering will make its debut onto the boards in another thread to see what you all think about it.

But that is enough about that. Go get that Sarlacc!!! (http://www.mnpp.net/?p=45)

Be sure to check out the scheme file and readme if you're that type and let me know what you think!

So much for Friday, eh? Well I can't complain about getting it early. Looks great!

Awesome map!
Instant classic.

Will Definitely play better than Jabba's Palace.

Much love and respect to all inolved in the creation of this masterpiece. It certainly rocks the socks off any T17 map I've ever seen in terms of visuals, but that's nothing new for MnPP.

If it plays worse than it looks I'll be back to whine, otherwise you can assume it is awesome, IMHO.

I love whining.

Well thanks everyone. About that comment comparing MnP maps to Team 17's... well... you said it, I didn't. ;)

I hope you will post your experiences on this map, what portions of it you especially enjoy seeing and/or using to your advantage/disadvantage while battling it out.

On to the next project!

After a short... one week or so... break. I am currently helping to redesign an old boardgame classic called Modern Art for a group of my local friends. It has to get done before a bachelor party in a couple of weeks, so... that will have to take the next slot in priority.

But after that, I have some major choices to make for the next MnP map. We have way too many socks that need to be blown, figuratively of course, off.

Thanks again!

I'd just like to say that the chain reaction caused by the drums on the sail barge is great fun. Also, only 1 Sarlacc death so far.

Well I guess that is a good thing! You would think that tons of guys would fall in there. If you play with at least 4 teams, there is bound to be a good lunch for Mr. Pit. 8 teams would be a friggin buffet.

But yah I love the oil drums.

That's the one. Besides being one of the best, if not THE best auction-based game around, Modern Art has what is possibly the WORST artwork I have ever seen.

Well, what do you expect from modern art? :D

Well we like to think ours has a 1-up on the original. ;)
