I can't connect to wormnet.

This is wat i do
I select Infrastructure mode.
I select my connection then it tells me to type my password in.
I do that.
Then this is wat happens next

Connecting to wormnet.
Creating online account.
Signing in.
Couldn't sign in (username) press X to coutinue.
Then it says Connection lost! Please try to connect again.

My internet works fine and so do my other online games.

Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help me?

The servers stopped working some time ago. Demonware and THQ are the only ones that have the power to do anything about it. I wouldn't ever expect them to come back since THQ is having financial problems and Demonware is now only used in Activision games.

that really sucks, i'm still ****ed off about this whole server thing. W:OW2 was one of the top game i had, ever. Online playing was great.
Btw, how come THQ are still releasing so many titles if they are in financial troubles...

My problems sort of similar. I go to infrastructure and then it just tells me to type in a new password. i type a random password in and then it says unable to connect.. Did it like save the password from the previous owner of my copy? i got it used.

Read the previous replies. No password will work since PSP wormnet is dead and buried.

If you read any of the previous posts, you would realise that PSP wormnet is dead and won't be coming back. No one can play it online.

From the PSP's XMB, scroll all the way left (Settings), scroll down to Network Settings, add your router as a connection. Done.

You still won't be able to play W:OW2 online, though. I mean, your post is for PSP tech support or similar, really. Team17 don't have anything to do with the PSP's internal workings. :p

(Team17 don't have anything to do with the PSP's internal workings.)
What means that exactly?

Vader

It's not their hardware and the XMB is not their software. The only thing Team17 do is write games for the PSP.

As far as I'm aware, T17 don't offer PSP tech support as it is not their tech.

what scam ... I just buy Worms: Open Warfare 2 for just playing mainly via wormnet ... Nothing on the official website of the game does have problems ... It really is the scam since the main interest of worms IS the multiplayer!

Really disappointed even though the game is nice ... : (

PS ; thanks google because i'm bad in english !

You have THQ to blame for that, not Team17. :(

You might want to have a read of this thread: http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38282

And more importantly, this post: http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=688246&postcount=29 (from this thread: http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?p=688246#post688246 )

Basically Wormnet for PSP isn't coming back, and there's not much T17 or anyone else can do about it. Shame really :(
