Look at video-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGb_-6BBV0M&feature=related
Where can get that bomb, and at 00:49 how did make the teams health lines look like that???

See here: http://worms2d.info/The_Fiddler
Also, an explosive weapon that does over 9000 damage to everything on the screen is probably the least creative thing you can do with the Fiddler...

Thank you :) I try make that lines:)

He said-It's a bug! You can't set it. It happens when decreasing the health of the worms too much.
Then I can't set... :(

The flaming health bars were removed in one of the recent beta updates. you can only enable it in early versions of W:A and in the case of the Fiddler, W:A v3.0.0.

Thanks! Then I need install v3.0.0. game update and also Fiddler then? And when I put again v3.6.28. update and how can I keep that flame lines? Where can I find and save that files in game directory?

Yes. This is how you install The Fiddler:

No. They have been removed. Also, The Fiddler is only compatible with the game up to version 3.0.0.0.
See above question on how to install two separate versions.

Why was this removed though. Any of this.. Fiddler ? Well I was never around when Fiddler was usable but I swear I've played with these Flaming healthbars before so why would you remove something like that O.o.. It has no effect on the gameplay :<

They were taking up valuable palette space. If they were left in, you wouldn't be able to enjoy colour maps (http://wmdb.org/) at the quality they are right now. Also, their rendering was hogging the CPU.

Heartnet

Well that certainly sucks ... And it's not possible to reimplement them with some modifications made to the game without losing the quality ? Everything should be possible with effort o.o.

We plan to eventually reintroduce them when W:A will switch to 24-bit colour displays, but, like in the old days, they will not be accessible to anyone (legitimately/online).

franpa
11 Feb 2009, 01:40
When it is reimplemented, just make it a local effect only. Like allow the effect online, but only the people with it enabled will ever see it?

Not very good for showing off though.
I think the Flame Bars should only be given to people who deserve it, and have made a big change to the Community. eg. CyberShadow, Paul.Power maybe?

franpa

I don't think it would be for showing off... it just add's diversity to health bars. theres already a health bar colour setting and am aware that it is for Deadcode and others, rare issue.

You mean a specific color that only Deadcode etc use? In replays?

franpa

he uses lighter/darker colours and anyone can switch between them from the in-game options. it was added because deadcode suffers some rare condition that made it hard for him to tell teams apart from each other.

I really like the way that the topic keeps on changing. First it was The Fiddler, then Flame Bars, then Normal Health Bars. What next? Map Limits? :p

Considering that all three of those listed subjects are related to the original post/question, I'd say that you're a little too easily entertained :P

But with 3.6.29.0 or 3.6.28.0 of course....nothing beneath that, that would be bull****!!!

Any new weapon OR explosion mods out there?

No, the death animations can not be changed.
I have however suggested before to reintroduce the W2 animations into WA, including the volatile graves feature.

Not unless Fiddler schemes compatibility is introduced in WA.

I too would like this, but it would have to be a scheme option or something because if your playing a er, deadly game with over powered weapons (happens alot in Worms 2 >.>) you spend tons of time waiting for everyone to die.

Well, "tons of time waiting" is a bit exaggerated.
I think the chain reactions were much more fun to watch with the volatile graves in W2.

Custom graves would have to be dropped though, if one chooses to use this retro option.

true too, unless GIF or APNG graves can be used :)

Can watch replays from ''games'' folder when not installed game?
No. These replays work by telling the game what happened (what buttons you and everyone else pressed, what seed was generated by the random number generator, etc), so there is no way of playing them without W:A.
