When I play the worm voices on the menu it sounds clear ,but in the gameplay the sound gets kind of floaty. I've tried all the suggestions on the official website ,but I think there for windows 98. Please help!!:(

Try updating DirectX and your sound card drivers.

I have direct x v.8 and Avance AC97 Audio:p

Get the latest direct X, 9.0c I think

I got Direct X 9 ,but sadly the sound sounds the same. I can tell it's distorted ,because when I sample worm voices at the menu it sounds clear ,but in the gameplay the music and sound muffles a bit. It also has some kind of echo noise to it. Thank you for the reply...:)

Try disabling EAX support if your using a Creative XFI card. (do it in the Application Launcher)
