Think there will be a sequel for this game on xbla? Never saw or heard anything but thought it sounded good.

I would love a sequal, infact I'd honestly be willing to pay for a full XBOX 360 worms game (2D preferrably), fully functional, all the weapons and such. Along the lines of World Party or something :P My friends and I all play the XBLA Worms, it's just easier than passing a keyboard and mouse around, and more comfortable, but we always miss the other weapons and features... plus having more than 4 worms in your army was nice.

I'm of a very similar perspective as you pulseMOD, I would definately like to see a follow-up, XBL Arcade, or premium... DEFINATELY 2D!

and ye all the old roster of weapons... if not a new large array!

Any follow up from admins on here? Anything to share re. future xbox worms please? even if its just to say 'no plans!'

The new title for XBLA is subject to a potential name change and it's a vastly expanded edition of the game which mixes classic weapons and features from Worms Armageddon (released 1999) and some very new (and rather tasty) new content.

"A listing appearing on the Australian Classification Office website has revealed that another Team 17 Worms title, Worms Armageddon Decade, may eventually inch its way to the Xbox Live Arcade. The XBLA release of Worms Armageddon Decade (which we're told is subject to a name change) will be a "vastly expanded edition" of the original XBLA Worms, that will include weapons and features from Worms Armageddon as well as other brand new content. I loved worms for XBLA, and I can't wait for the sequel to come, its gonna be great.

“There’s no firm release date as yet, especially with the current Worms still performing strongly two years on and besides, we don’t really control that until we talk more with the Live team when the game is certified.
