Team17 is currently suffering a power outage and wormnet is running off our back up battery supplies. I expect the supplies to run out before an engineer resolves the issue so there will be an outage.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience

What about this forum? Is that run off the same power supply, or is the server for it based somewhere else?

The forum is at a completely different site to team17 so will be unaffected.

The problem with our supply seems to be severe, so it is currently estimated that we will be back online late wednesday afternoon (GMT), this is just an estimate however.

I set up a backup WormNET server. Instructions on how to connect to it can be found here: http://worms.thecybershadow.net/wormnet/

I wish you would make your instructions clearer...were not all from a programming background.
When I log on to your link..do I 1: open it or 2:save it?

What?
The only thing running off that should be the refrigerator for the beer!

They don't keep beer in the fridge. Mainly because whenever beer is bought, it always gets drunk before it gets a chance to warm.

You save it in your Worms Armageddon folder graphics\ServerLobby (in my case that would be C:\[games]\Worms Armageddon\graphics\ServerLobby then you need to confirm to override the old one. I recommend you to rename the old one to something else (just to make a backup file in case something will go wrong).

Indeed. And it's called "Wnet1" instead of "EFnet"! :D

I can confirm that we got power back much more quickly than expected at around 4 pm yesterday.
