I'm making a Wii Linux distribution as you all may no, I'm just putting finishing touches on it. Is there anyone who can make a short bootup jingle for me? I don't really care about the specifics, just make it something... startup-y :p

Something that seems to say "Welcome to this delightful computer/Wii/whatever", like the Windows/KDE/mac/Ubuntu/etc startup sounds do.

Oh, and please, if you don't have the ability to compress music into a reasonable file format (ie OGG Vorbis or FLAC), just don't compress it. Leave it as WAV.

I think FutureWorm's response is really the only thing that could be said ;). I might include these as well (as alternatives maybe), just because they are quite funny :p

In fact, when the site I am using for hosting comes back up (grr), I'll upload them all and ask people which one they prefer to be the default (all the others will be available as alternatives). So, keep them coming!

Also, I keep forgetting the syntax for unrar all the time, whereas I can remember the syntax for tar, unzip and 7z.

Blame Windows Explorer, for whatever reason when I ask it to zip something it always does it as a rar.
