Hey everyone! Little change of plans here.

I originally decided to wait till this coming Friday to release the next MNP level but since I will be out of town that evening and the next (I'm in a wedding), I have changed my mind. And therefore I give you, the "Next Gen" version of Titanic D!

The three primary differences from the orginal version:

1. Map size has been increased and matches the scale of Titanic B
2. The entire level has been redrawn from the ground up (based heavily on B)
3. And like B, no more dependency on the fiddler for a nice fine-tuned scheme file.

Your encouragement and compliments have greatly inspired us to continue designing new worms levels. I just finished up a session of work on my new "unamed boats" level and I really think it is coming along great.

Just remember: These maps are pretty challenging and I hope that doesn't discourage many of you from trying them out. Please, please please let me know what you think.

There is a rather extensive readme in the RAR file describing the concept of the level, along with the scheme file and map file itself.

A small scale screenshot has been attached to this message.

You can get all the currently released MNP maps on our website:

After releasing the upcoming Global Warming, I will be posting all of the maps currently available onto the Worms Map Database and Blamethepixel. I will also be looking into getting some information archived on The Worms Wiki page. Thanks for the suggestions bonz.

Happy battling my friends and please enjoy Titanic D!

Thanks, another great map! I just finished playing a full game.

What number of teams/worms would you recommend? It seems to greatly affect the balance since the water rises every turn.

That's a great question.

Frankly, I believe it works with however many you want, since the added futility and dying worms is what it's all about for me. But normally we play with 3 - 4 teams of 8. CPUs on this level, and the other Titanic level, SUCK.

And thank you for the compliment. I was hoping this wouldn't get overlooked since the other Titanic level just came out.
