I've spent the last hour trawling around this forum and the rest of the internet trying t ofind out how to play back recorded .wagame files.
Please would someone let me into this apparently elusive secret?

you need to have the game updated to v3.6.19.7 or better

if the file association isn't already there, open the replay with wa.exe

Assuming you have a recent Beta version, you need to run W:A once under a user with administrative rights for it to create the necessary file associations.
