1)i cannot create or edit teams in-game..when i click the image for create/edit teams i get an error and a message "Cannot create/edit teams" or something like that and the game crashes..Make sure that W:A can write to the folder where you installed it to. Set the folder permissions or start W:A under the Administrator account.
2)if i minimize the game and maximize it again i see only a black screen..Minimizing in Windows Vista will work better in the next Beta update, although there shouldn't be black screens in 3.6.29.0.

1)i changed my folder permissions (unchecked read-only and gave permissions to all users of this computer to read , modify or write in this folder "Teams").. the bad thing is that i run it always on administrator account but nothing still hapens..also i tried the option "run as administrator" but i got the same message.. any other ideas??

2)do you know when next beta update will be available??

btw, thanks CyberShadow :)

Teams are saved to the WG.WGT file in that folder.

2)do you know when next beta update will be available??When it's ready.

We release a Beta when we consider that the game has reached a certain quality level, has received a fair amount of testing and there are no outstanding known problems for which a fix is possible. We also try to introduce at least one major feature per Beta.

1)Do you want to send you the ERRORLOG.txt?? The in-game error message is "ERROR: Could Not open/create team File".. Oh, I get the same error even if I go to "create a team" or "edit team details"..and i have the same problem when I go to training..It says "Training file not found".. :( the WG.WGT file is correct, I checked it.. I can edit it properly from team editor program and use the team to the game...

Anyway, thank you for your help CyberShadow.. :)

I'll look at the ERRORLOG.TXT if you post it, but I don't think it'll uncover the source of your problem. The error you're getting is definitely because W:A can't create the team file. Please try moving away or deleting the WG.WGT file and try to let W:A recreate it, and see what happens.

It says exactly the same even if the "Teams" folder is empty when i try to create a team.. Exactly the same message.. Here is the ERRORLOG.TXT.. I hope it will help you.. ;)

I am using Vista now, and I can no longer edit teams or minimize the game, either. I'm using 3.6.29.0 and any time I go to the team edit or create buttons, the game crashes to desktop. I don't even get the error this guy above me gets, it just plain crashes.

When I minimize the game, particularly while in the main menus, the game comes back up but stays as a black screen which no longer responds to mouse input (but I can still hear the ambient menu sound that plays). I have to mash escape key or kill the WA.EXE process within the task manager to get out of it.

On a side note, I am eagerly waiting 32-bit WA! I make a lot of offline maps that I'd love to see not dithered to an ugly mess in-game, plus being able to window the game would be very helpful. :)

Woops. I found the solution to the team problem, but I can't seem to edit my post since it has to be admin approved before it even appears here. Anyhow, I had compatibility turned on for 'windows 98', which made it crash when attempting to create or edit teams. I turned compatibility mode off. Worms does work a little better overall if you turn on the following compatibility options: "Disable visual themes", "Disable desktop composition", "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings". I just leave the Compatibility mode off, and let WA run natively in Vista. It doesn't completely solve the minimizing black screen issue, but at least now I can see little bits of white and can get mouse response during the blackness.

Minimizing the Front-end under Vista isn't really supported yet ^^" try waiting for the next version of W:A (whenever that will be) as I'm sure it will have much improved Vista support.
