Sorry for the newbie question, but I did not manage to find an answer anywhere else.

Is it possible to pause a multiplayer match? Thanks.

It's not possible at the moment.

Thanks.

I have one more question, and I will ask it here for the sake of not making another thread:
Sometimes the water will obscure a very thin strip of land. Is there a way to reveal this strip?

You know... that's one of its purposes.

The few bottom pixel rows of the map are always obscured by the water. This may have been done intentionally.

Thanks.

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters

According to this topic, I'd link you to the feature suggestion forum: http://feedback.worms2d.info/pages/general/suggestions/84934-pausing-the-game

I wouldn't vote for that feature, it would be abused to all hell and **** everyone off.

I can't deny that is a possibility. All I can say is that such thing didn't happen at AOC nor at WarcraftIII. And just as a tiny detail: at warcraftIII the standard welcoming to a game was "**** you noob" instead of "gl&hf" (annoying the other players in every possible way was widely accepted, yet somehow pausing the game never was one).

Thanks, voted.

Just make it so that each player has a limit to the times he can pause the game (as it has been suggested). Done.
I'm voting with 3 votes for this one! :)

haha, don't forget "no, u" too :D
I used to be quite the flamer back in my days. No one, not even my clanmates, were spared the huge amount of curses I would spew at them each time I lost. It was a sad story, but I think I learnt to control myself eventually. (nah, who am I kidding :D)
Speaking of pausing, there was this extremely annoying pausehack for a while, but I've got way offtopic already, so...

the problem is that W:A relies a lot on timing and pausing at crucial moments isn't good, maybe make it so you can only pause a certain amount of times AND only on your own turn?

only on your own turn?
Well, that would be obvious.
Pausing on another player's turn wouldn't have any benefits other than píssing others off.

The pausing should never happen during a turn, but between them. You'd hit the pause button any time you want and a message could appear in the chatbox indicating that after the current turn ends the game will be paused until any player decides to resume the game. Also the number of times the game can be paused could be limited, just like at the games I mentioned.

I think there's a third-party program that does reveal it, but I can't remember what it is. But it's considered a cheat in some schemes. I don't know if anything is intended to be done to prevent it from working.

Eject then reinsert the CD during a game... it works for me.

You'll never see all the way to the bottom of the terrain, though, no matter how transparent you make the water sprite.
