I wouldn't ever play this because
a) that scheme has probably NEVER before been played on WormNET and sounds stupid to me
b) there's WAY TOO MUCH adverts on that site
c) that site sucks in general, lacking overview etc, see b)
d) who's gonna moderate this? some random guy?
e) uncomfortable feeling.. playing in a seriously-spammed-with-games league
f) even though this is meant to look "professional" it's clearly not anything like that
g) the ESL (http://www.esl.eu) tried to pull something similar to this, with moderators who are known by the community, and also failed (I even think the ESL thing was nicer than this)

...

I could go on with the list but that's not really necessary. Your efforts are nice but I strongly doubt this is gonna work out. If I'm wrong then you have my apologies.

you're defenitly wrong

This site does have advertisements, but no pupups for me..
it's highly sponsored, that's why there are so many commercials aswell.

Clanbase has always been a good gaming site, but still it's your own choise if you want to join the ladders or not,

already about 20 people have joined, signups will stay open, so good luck ;)

oh and about the schemes, for now on this is just normal weapons, don't understand what you mean..
explain?

When a website offering a worms league has to rely on taking screenshots of the weapon panel to explain the scheme to others as opposed to sharing a scheme file it really rises the doubt that maybe they have no ****ing clue what they're on about.

Or, they wish to inform as many people as possible on how to play, including newbies... why do you have to be harsh about everything Yakuza? the last month or so you've been incredibly annoying :/

Because it's that time of the year were it seems everyone and their mother are making half assed attempts of a worm league.
I'm not being harsh, I'm convinced these guys have no ****ing clue about worms, I could actually go point by point as to why this is the case, but if this forum has taught me anything is not to waste my time and effort explaining things because peple are motivated to agree or disagree based on anything but reason.

alright sir..

I think that's enough.
I took screenshots, because that's easier.
If I have to explain this all in words, it will take a full page explaining and people will forget stuff (especially people who are new in this game).

I know this game for years, so don't get me wrong with this all.
If you wanna see diffirent games in worms, games like shopper.. then go vote that in the ladderpetitions.

So again.. those 2 screenshots just tell the amount of ammo of the weapons + explains some of the settings. But soon I'll also put a file online, which you can just copy and paste into your gamefolder, so those screens won't be needed anymore..

ps. I suggest you guys come up with ideas instead of whining about these ladders

"Here's the scheme file (http://www.schemefile.com), download it and put it into your Worms Armageddon\User\Schemes folder."
What else would you need to add?

I don't recall having played or even seen you on WormNET, ever.

Let me say this again: It would be cool if your efforts were worth the time you spent but I strongly doubt it. :) :) :) :) :)

Not so bad to have some new players on WN, tho I know well they are sometimes annoying. But maybe one day they will become good players or even more important, good friends ;)
BTW: creating one scheme file, uploading it and giving a link at rules is harder than creating "screenshots", as it is easily seen that those were made with a camera...?

I would have thought using a camera, copying the file from the camera, uploading the file, the hosting it and making it fit the website layout, would be harder then simply uploading a scheme file. I personally believe images are better for explaining things then words are when it comes to things like schemes.

Yeah dude because it's so convenient to minimize and maximize continuosly to tune your scheme to fit the screenshot. Or pint it. Or write it down.

he can offer both methods at the same time, use images to "explain" the scheme (IE: the scheme rules etc.) and provide the scheme to avoid people having to make it themselves.

Websites people put a decent effort in actually parse the scheme file (http://worms2d.info/Game_scheme_file) and display it in a human-readable form - for example, Worm Olympics (http://wormolympics.com/tournaments/show/4) and the Worms Knowledge Base (http://worms2d.info/Image:Hysteria.wsc).

as you guys maybe have noticed, the scheme file is in the rules of the ladders.
You can download it there, very easy.
