I've created a UserVoice page for W:A, here:

http://feedback.worms2d.info/

You can add a suggestion, or vote on existing ones. Suggestions with more votes will get more attention.

If the idea works, it will be promoted to semi-official (a sticky) :)

And then telling them that you already had those ideas years ago, huh? :D

I shall try to resist spamming the site with my critiques ;)

With Team17's approval, it's now semi-official :D I've created a separate sticky and locked it, to prevent people from skimming the post/title and posting ideas there.

To keep things tidy, I've decided to decline feature requests that don't have a chance of being done before 4.0, which is still years away. A lot of things will come with 4.0 eventually, but we'd rather focus on small things that can be done without rewriting half of the code base right now.

The new schemme format will come before 4.0 or with 4.0?

Before .

I don't mean anything bad by that, but in a "few years" you'll probably just have more problems to fix and will never manage to get all those nice features. Think about it, new hardware, new OS (win7?), compatibility issues etc.

i dont think win compatibility will be a big problem.....they solved vista compatibility problems so fast.
I want 4.0 now too but thinking about 4.0 to come soon is just so unreal.

Windows 7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7) will be based on the same code base as Windows Vista, so I don't think there will be significant compatibility issues. And a stable, consistent and bug-free experience is a greater priority for us than adding new features to the game.

I don't think that 4.0 is worth the work (years!) unless the game is re-released in some way by Team17.

Didn't they say the same thing about Vista?

Do you guys get payed by team17 for the work you do on the game - updates etc?

Didn't they say the same thing about Vista?I believe it was known early in the development cycle that Vista will be using a new kernel.
Do you guys get payed by team17 for the work you do on the game - updates etc? It's mostly voluntary work.
