Hi people, I was just wondering, do you need a hardware driver to play Worms Armageddon? Because my WA wont start... But surprisingly enough Worms 2 does, Is it Worms Armageddons Menus or intros that are messing it up or what?:(

W2 uses Windows forms for its front-end, while W:A uses DirectX. You need to have a graphics set-up that supports DirectDraw.

Its probably just the menus (The WA Screensaver Works just fine)

Are you using an Intel Mobile graphics chipset under Windows Vista? Intel has decided to end support for certain DirectX features in their Vista drivers (http://worms2d.info/Troubleshooting_FAQ#.22Graphics_subsystem_error_-_Unable_to_set_desired_video_mode.22), thus W:A will not work natively on that configuration.

If not - you could be more specific with your problem description, "doesn't start" doesn't tell us a lot. What exactly happens?

Well I know i have an intel chipset but i'm running XP (my graphics card faild and i'm stuck with my VGAsave driver... When I double clik the WA icon The screen goes black for a few seconds, then i get the "WA has incountered a problem and needs to close" dialog box... Mabe its the intro movies?
