Hi guys i appreciate i am somewhat of a pain but once the penny has dropped il be out of here, i am not new to worms but ive always played one my own but i now am aware there is patch's & updates,i seem to find the patches/updates easly enough but im realy not sure in what order do i download them all..???
how many patches is there as on my disc there is patch 3.50 beta..? is that the latest..? can anyone let me know once ive installed the game in what order does it all go please.??

Assuming you have a working Internet connection during installation, all you need to download is the latest Beta update (http://wa.team17.com/main.html?page=supp&area=upda&file=15). It will automatically download and install any prerequisites to make your game completely up-to-date.

CyberShadow MAny thankx that was the atidote i was looking for so sorry to be a pain, now all i need is to find out how to get the Girder starter pack..?

3 methods:

1) Complete the game (get gold on all trainings, complete all missions (with any medal), get elite in deathmatch) to unlock the ability to edit super weapons
2) Modify your team file with TeamED (http://worms2d.info/TeamED), to complete the game and unlock the ability to edit super weapons
3) Use a scheme editor (with SchemeEddy (http://worms2d.info/SchemeEddy)) to edit or create the scheme directly to add girder starter pack (editting with WA's editor after this will remove it, I think, so don't do that)

WAPatch.exe (Version 3.0 for WA) (ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/WAPatch.exe)

If you plan to install the update offline, make sure you have these 2 files installed first before the latest update.

BTW, there is an optional Server List patch (ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/WA_Serverlist_Patch.zip) which adds a US mirror to your WormNet server list.
[EDIT: That US server was hosted by Hasbro (source (http://web.archive.org/web/20000610224618/worms.team17.com/pc/?goodies_files)), but has been dead for years. The link provided in the patch now redirects to the only, UK server.]

There is no official USA server at the moment.
