When i was playing worms 4 mahem the other day, i started a custom game and it came to loading. i waited about 10 minutes before reseting my PS2. Has anyone else had this problem?

Clean your disc. Keep it clean. Make sure it doesn't have scratches on it.

Yes. Game crashes are frequent with W4M after a long time of playing the game. As said above, make sure there are no scratches, fingerprints or dirt on the disc. :)

Depends how deep the scratch is. Is there any grease on the disc? If there is, you can wipe it away with a soft, clean cloth. CD-Cleaning solution is good too.

Deeper scratches can be removed after some rubbing with a soft clean cloth and some CD-Cleaning fluid. Although deep scratches means that you need to replace the lens in the PS2. Having said that, it shouldn't be needed, since cleaning the scratches can solve this too. :)

No, deep scratches on the disc will not require anything to be done with the laser lens: deep deep scratches can be repaired by buying a scratch remover or sending the disc to www.cdhospital.com .

Well, it depends on what sort of data is where the scratch is on the disc. :)

the scratch was in the middle left of the disc.
i used that laserclean thing and it is still there :eek:

You may need to use it more than once :D And telling us where the scratch isn't really helping since the disc is round, and you could of been looking at it anyway. Also, telling us where it is isn't much help since only the creators of the game know where there is data on the disc. LOL! :P

A laser cleaner won't get rid of a scratch on the disk; it will clean the laser.

That's because you're using a product to clean a disc that's not intended for cleaning discs, it's intended for cleaning the laser in the player that reads the discs.
