This is for statements that you consider... not stupid, but odd. Maybe it's a slip in communication, or a rather odd worldview, or just something straight from midwicket (because I don't want to say "straight out of left field" when I can adapt the saying with cricket terminology). It may even be quite profound in its way, but it just throws you.
