You could probably convince me to vote for GrimOswald. I just haven't paid a lot of attention to him. Not making my vote yet, anyway. If other people want KRD's folks in here, I won't object. I also wouldn't object to any decision that OD agrees to, but Plasma still seems iffy.

muzer I don't know so much anymore since he apparently mostly posts in the actual worms sections of the forums and almost not at all in the community secitons where i'm the opposite.

How in the world does Plasma keep making it into the poll every year because jesus christ people. You should try actually interacting with him through chat or games or whatever and then you'll see why a big handful of the forum scorn him in every way. (as I say, if even Paul doesn't like you, well...)

I think we've been looking at this the wrong way. We're just looking at people who seem like nice posters and trying to reward them, but really we should be looking at people who are nice posters and would actually be interested in joining OD, because I'm willing to bet a lot of people probably wouldn't bother to post in here no matter how helpful to the community they are.

I've seen some cunning ways for people to get their hands on the alphas, but this ranks with one of the more cunning. ;)

(By my rough calculations, about half of those in the alpha test team don't have access to OD, but I'm not supposed to talk about this sort of thing.)

I will try to become a more active member of the actual community rather than just the support sections... I need to read the entire I didn't know wood was flammable thread.

Also, how frequent are these polls? I cannot wait to vote in the next one... I assume the community would have changed drastically by then, not just because of the standard elite cycle (noobs become mediums, mediums become pros, pros leave, noobs join), but because of the release of non-worms games. I hope we see our fair share of elites come back, like before.

There is, but we haven't had it all that long, only since we've been able to hand out infractions. Some things were spontaneous, others involved email conversations between me, Andrew and Sel/Volcadmin, and others were discussed in OD. In fact, I think that's how the usermods were chosen - a thread in OD.
