When comes more weapons and landscapes? I miss the Holy bomb and many other weapons from the other worms games. Is it possible to take it in a new Package? And how long we must wait for more German Language Packs? I miss also the Grandma Bomb or Gastanks.

Team17 said a long long time ago that no new weapons would be coming. And it's been over a year (July 4th, 2007) since any new content has come out for this game. It is abandoned by Team17.

I'm a little surprised that no sequel, WITH all the extra functionality than Worms Armageddon had, has been announced.

Surely either:
a) Worms XBLA did badly, because long-standing fans thought it was a very watered down game. In which case making a full-blown version would be a good idea.
or
b) Worms XBLA did brilliant, so making a sequel full-blown game version would be a good idea again.

From what I have been reading Microsoft are pretty much saying the hard drive is mandatory now. Combined with vastly larger games being allowed there isn't really a file size problem anymore. Worms Armageddon was never THAT big for a start.

That is the correct option. WXBLA never did badly.

Well thats good news that things are afoot. With the expansion of the XBLA limit it should make for an interesting turnout for future projects. I would imagine that more DLC wouldn't be the answer and that another game would be just as successful as the first.

Worms PSP, Worms XBLA, and Worms OW 2 (DS, PSP) are all brilliant and I'm dying for Open Warfare 2 (or equivalent) on XBLA.

At least we know for next time not to expect any kind of continued support from Team 17.

Your flaw, phoenix, was expecting a game designed to introduce new people to the franchise to be full of all the stuff long-time fans have enjoyed about it. I personally found Worms Open Warfare/XBLA to be a very good remake of Worms United.

I don't really have a problem with it, at least it's got the ninja rope. As a matter of fact, I beat some guys from www.armorytech.com today at a video game convention without using a single jetpack....it almost went into a draw though. Let's get back on the subject the only weapon I could really ask for is HHG.

I love worms xbl. but more weapons and landscapes would have made it a lot more better (: it's still the best arcade game imo. but i HOPE team17 bring armageddon out for download. effing loved that game ^__^ or worms world party. it's the perfect game for xbl. (:
