Hi people, my copy of Stunt GP has small pauses/lags every 2 seconds when i play it. This happens anywhere in the game, both the menu and in races.

Specs:

Windows xp sp2
E6850 3.0ghz
2gb RAM
8800GTX

Would be nice to know where the problem is originating from.

Also I saw a bug in these forums, when i tried to post without being registered it told me that I was "banned, for reason: not specified". Might want to sort that out. have a good weekend.

I don't think that's really so much of a bug with the forums. Guests aren't supposed to be able to post.
(No, sorry, don't have anything to say about your other problem.)

Well I am aware of that, but surely a "you need to register in order to post"
or something like that would be better than wrongly telling people they are banned.

Anyway, I found someone on Google with the same problem as me, he had a 7800 GTX, so the problem may be specific to Nvidia cards

That's a strange one - if I log out and try to post I just get a message saying "vBulletin mesage: You are not logged in or do not have permission to view this page...". You're not banned, since you'd get that message when you visit the forum homepage, not when posting a new thread.

Yeah? And then what, "Mr. I clicked submit too early"?
Maybe you should learn how to post before you rave about how this forum sucks.

Does your CD have scratches?
If yes, you could try creating a CD image and mount it as a virtual drive.

Do have the latest graphics drivers and/or DirectX installed?

Do you experience such lags in other games too?
