i have autosave on and when i win copius amounts of points, when i turn the psp off and play at a later time they dont save?

the all players leaderboard updates every 3-5 days so you might have to wait 3 days to see your points on the leaderboard.

another thing might be that if you play people that are not ranked you sometimes dont get any points for beating them if you are high up
