I'm asking some authority for me to post a tutorial for photo shop filtering and some tips for blending render on the background
(this also includes some advance effects and cool stuff)

what sort of tutorials are you talking here? just general photoshop tutorials or are you posting something specific for worm-drawing?

not sure on the general tutorials being here, but anything worm-related would be fine, I suspect.

Uh, Gloworm, what are you talking about?:-/I think he's wanting to know if it's ok if he post some non-team17 related art tips about using filters and such in photoshop. that's the closest sensible thing I can come up with when reading his question, anyway, so I went with that.

Must be because he saw the section as "Fan Art", i.e. every time of art and not just worms. :P

I remember reading in the rules thread that every thread MUST begin with at least one art.

he's asking about a rule relevant to the fan art section. logically, this is an acceptable thing to do within the fan art section. sure, it could probably have been done in OO as well but that's an odd place to ask a fan art question.

Yeah, can't really see a problem with that being posted - would be helpful to the community.

If it's not your own work, then please credit the source.

rename the title at least! it's funny. (or maybe not, but looking at it, the title reminds me of a restaurant near my house.)

The admins venture into the fanart forum even less than the mods do - don't worry :p

Plus we created the rules for the fanart forum, and the admins approved it.

wtf... lol! xP

also: thomasp - is it just me or is ur avatar background of a different colour compared to the forum background?

Or is it just Internet Explorer?

That would be Internet Explorer not supporting transparent PNG's. Use a proper browser like Firefox or Safari.

Yeah, I'm being forced to use IE right now and it sucks. And there is no apostrophe in PNGs.

*Bans Muzer for correcting my grammar* :p

gloworm: Go ahead and post your tutorials whenever you're ready.

Certain versions of IE don't support transparent backgrounds on PNG files. Not sure if this was fixed in IE7 or not.

I was using IE6 on my dad's laptop :P

Glad to be back on my trusty ol' computer (with Firefox installed).
