Now, I don't mean to complain here, but there are a few maps from Worms 3D
[Namely, "A Quick fix" and "Beefcake Brekfast Brawl"] That I wish were unlockable. Why were they not unlockable?, and does anyone know a program they can use to unlock these maps?

It's called renaming. YOu go into your data/maps folder, find a map that you have unlocked, find one you can't unlock, backup the old one and rename the new one.

Thanks.:) Presumably you are saying I should open up the program files in notepad and mix up Quick fix with, Erm...Lets say, D-day. Then, If I select D-day it will load Quick fix. Am I correct?

Can you do this with worms 4 maps? can you make your own maps? [Not with random generated code]

Where have you got notepad from? You just swap the files around in Windows Explorer. Like, you find the file that corresponds to the Quick Fix map (in C:\Team17\Worms3D\data\maps, assuming you installed it there like I did), then the one that corresponds to D-Day, then rename D-Day to a backup name, then Quick Fix to the same name D-Day had, then go into worms 3d and for the map select D-Day and you will play quick fix. This doesn't work online, it wil desynch.

You can do the same in worms 4, can't remember if the maps are stored in the same place, but you can do the same. And you can also even exchange maps between W4M and W3D (W3D-->W4M works best), as long as you rename the .xom to .xan!

Sorry, I'm not too expierienced with this kind of stuff. I have XP. By Windows explorer, Can I presume you mean control panel or the ordinary screen?

Why couldn't Team17 make the map unlockable in the first place anyway?:-/

P.S.: I have just noticed that the W3D Disk/s I have is from Sold_Out Software, Does this mean it
has all the files from 3D with it, or maybe some are missing?

The ordinary screen. The screen that comes up when you open a folder.

Ah, thanks for that, is the quick fix file called "notpc.xom"? there's also a notepad file next to it that is called "notpc". So, now, presumably I mix it up with the D-day map. does this affect the D-day mission? I think I need just a few more details.

It will affect anything that uses the D-Day map. And yeah, you mix them up.

Iv'e finaly got this thing working, only when I mixed Quick fix with d-day, I got a dark green computer! [as in the computer in the level, not my computer] I have put D-day back, and instead, swapped it with earn your crust. I have only changed the xom files, and the colours are slightly wrong. perhaps I should change the notepad files next to it entitiled "Notpc"?

yeah, you should

yeah, you should

Will that sort out my texture problem? go to quick fix to see how the computer is supposed to look, then look at this:

It should fix it, I think, as far as I can remember

If not, it will just be a graphical glitch, still playable

It is playable. It is great, apart from the roof where most of the worms start on. I have to blow it open to get a good view. I have changed the notepad file [That I think contains the textures] from notpc to crust. I'll now go play. and see If I can get a good screenshot.

EDIT: No, it's still the same, maybe I did something wrong back there...

Ah, the file may be csh and not xom...
