I played WASO yesterday, and a thought occured to me- this game is exactly like WOW- a worms game for new players. And then, i thought: There could be a WASO 2! and i think many people would like that, because they didn't get the worms on wii they were hoping for.

I'm hoping that some time, team 17 go back to wii worms and create a new one. Because it is a little dissapointing, its good, but just... dissapointing, and not the worms on wii we were hoping for.

I'd like a WASO 2. It could have more stuff in it, 35 weapons, like WOW 2 did, and missions, training, and maybe even more minigames! a deathmatch option could be on it too!

And i'm not using the MOAR! MOAR! MOAR! attitude here, its just that WOW 2 was a big improvement to WOW 1, mainly because more content was added to it. And thats what makes games better. More content.

Personally, i'd like to see a true worms game on wii, this time suited for the experienced fans as well.

EDIT: Also, it could have online play too.

Of course, if there was a second W:ASO, it certainly would be more complex than the first. Mainly because the first one was designed to introduce new people to the franchise, while the second one wouldn't, because the Wii users have already been introduced.
But the real question if whether THQ (the publishers would have the main word on this, not Team17) would want to or not. I haven't seen the sales figures, and checking reviews doesn't work either on the basis that they're professional gamers, not the people W:ASO is supposed to appeal to.

I would like it if they changed things around a little. I havn't played part one, but I can tell they need a couple of changes to be made. for example: Target everyone! not just new players.

If team17 & THQ keep working together, then they've lost one fan.... me. THQ has really gone to the stupid side recently. not just with what they're doing to worms, but other games as well. THQ is turning out to be the second company I hate, and I can't waste my money on games they're involved in.

Remember, THQ are the publishers. They don't develop the game, they publish it. So really, its Team 17, because they are making the games like that.

Agreed, not just for new people this time. Either way, this is NOT the proper worms game on wii we want.

And you should get/rent WASO.

Team 17 did. They thought that multiplayer would be better face to face, instead of online.

They also scrapped online play because there was no chat feature.
